Another couple of articles highlighting the apparent educational successes of Prop. 227, both for children and their parents. There’s been a real flurry of recent media coverage on the issue, all of it strongly positive.
Perhaps at some point the editorial boards of California’s major newspapers—nearly all of which opposed Prop. 227—will begin to admit they’ve changed their views. I’d certainly expect that those major East Coast publications which endorsed Prop. 227, such as the Washington Post, the New Republic, and the Economist, are feeling quite pleased with their decision.
